날 기억하니 나 그때 모난돌
못 알아보겠지 이렇게 다 깎여
내 주위 사람들은 좋아해

살기 편해졌어 안심이 된다나
넌 왜 그러냐고
그 질문에 대답할 필요 없어서

둥글어졌어 어디든 잘 굴러
누구든 가져다가 어디든 쓸 수 있어
이 세상은 다 좋아해

내가 날 깎아내 삐죽히 뚫고 나오면
잘려진 그 모조각
버리지 못하는 건
다 그 속에 있어 나란 건

현명해진 건 줄 철들어야 하는 줄
삐죽한 내 모양이
언젠가 아름다움일 줄 모르고

둥글어졌어 어디든 잘 굴러
누구든 가져다가 어디든 쓸 수 있어
이 세상은 다 좋아해

Remember me? You know, when I was an angular stone
I guess you wouldn't recognize me, after being carved so much
Those around me like it

"It looks more comfortable to live this way." They say
Why are you like that?
I don't need to answer

Becoming round, I roll well everywhere
Anyone can use me however they want, wherever they want
Everyone in this world loves it

As I carve myself, getting into tight spaces
Those chipped-off pieces
I cannot throw them away
Because they were all a part of me

I've learned my lesson, it's time to age
My prickly edges
Will someday become art
