La messe di nostro Signore
E Cristo il Redentore

Urlava a squarciagola

Fummo lavati e sepolti
Odoravamo di incenso.
E dopo, quando amavamo,
Ci facevano gli elettroshock

The Holy Land

I knew Jericho,
I too had my Palestine,
And the clear waters of the Jordan.
The walls of the asylum
Were the walls of Jericho
And a pool of infected water
Baptized us all.
There we were Jews
And the Pharisees were above
And there was also the Messiah
Confused within the crowd:
A madman who looked to the Heavens
And begged laughing
All of us, a herd of ascetics
In a tomb of horror

We were like birds.
And every so often a dark net
Imprisoned us
But we moved toward the harvest,
The harvest of our Lord
And Christ the Redeemer
Confined behind a net
Screamed at the top of his lungs
All his evil in God.
We were washed and buried
We smelled of incense.
And later, when we loved,
They gave us electroshocks
Because, they said,
A madman must not love anyone.
But one day from within the grave
Something awakened me
And as did Jesus
I had my resurrection
I returned to life
But I did not ascend to Heaven
I descended to Hell
From where I gaze in wonder
At the walls of ancient Jericho.
