昨日の夜 観た映画に感化されて 取る物も取り敢えずキーをまわした
まだ眠る街を通り抜けていくよ 海が見たい

Yesterday at night, inspired by a movie, I grabbed the keys and turned on the ignition
Driving through the sleeping city towards the sea
Heading west on National Route One, the colour of the wind turned gradually blue
The coastline opened up before me, with the sunrise beyond
The panorama blew away my fatigue, accumulated until the weekend
The sound of the waves drowns out the noise in my head
The song on the car radio I've been hearing a lot lately
Next time I'll bring you along. It will be more fun on a day off
Pretending to understand, suppressing myself, always checking the expressions of those around me
I guess this is what it means to be an adult, and I hate it
Dogs running around, surfers waiting for waves, my time alone is over
Nothing's changed really, but I find myself laughing
The beach is strewn with the empty shells of bygone seasons
When my sunburnt skin peels, it will be the signal of the end
Just for now, let's forget, for a brief while
The incoming waves now carry away the everyday life I buried in my heart
