While you're driving, and I feel like
For me those days are very few and far between for me
Where I do get a chance to just ride out to the farm and
And just get to sit there and think for a little while
But like on the way out there, I'll just turn up some of my favorite music, roll the windows down
And those are the moment where I do feel like just free
Uh, and just alive, being able to get into the car and take a road trip
Whether it's just me by myself or me and my wife

That was just one of the songs that I felt would fit so well in a live show
And I haven't done anything like that in a very long time
And so, "Blame It On The Backroad" is just kind of a
Song about, you know, if I get lost and you don't hear from me for eight or ten hours
You can blame it on me just disappearing down some side street
Or some dirt road, and I will be back
But for now, this is where I'm gonna go think
And this is where I'm gonna get lost in for a little while

I feel like cranking up Thomas Rhett's album driving down one of those backroads
Would be a perfect way to spend your day
I mean the album's not that long, but you can put in on repeat
And you could be driving down a backroad while you're listening to "Blame It On A Backroad"

Whoo, ich hoffe, Thomas hat eine gute Atemkontrolle, damit er das live singen kann.
Es ist "Put It On Ice" featuring HARDY von seinem Album "Country Again (Side A)".
Das jetzt erhältlich ist.
Und ich erinnere mich, dass einmal jemand sagte, wenn ich jemals zu spät bin, liegt es daran, dass ich einen Hund gesehen habe.
Das heißt, sie wurden abgelenkt, hielten an und streichelten den Hund.
Und das erinnert mich irgendwie an diesen nächsten Song und die Stimmung dahinter.
Also, Thomas, erzähl den Leuten von "Schieb es auf einen Feldweg".

"Schieb es auf einen Feldweg" ist wirklich nur ein Lied darüber, sich zu verirren, Schatz.
Während du fährst, und ich fühle mich, als ob
diese Tage für mich sehr selten sind.
Wo ich die Chance bekomme, einfach zur Farm zu fahren und
mich einfach hinzusetzen und eine Weile nachzudenken.
Aber auf dem Weg dorthin schalte ich einfach meine Lieblingsmusik ein, mache die Fenster runter.
Und das sind die Momente, in denen ich mich einfach frei fühle, meine Süße.
Äh, und einfach lebendig, in der Lage zu sein, ins Auto zu steigen und einen Roadtrip zu machen.
Ob es nur ich alleine bin oder ich und meine Frau.

Das war nur einer der Songs, von denen ich dachte, dass er so gut in eine Live-Show passen würde.
Und ich habe so etwas schon sehr lange nicht mehr gemacht.
Und so ist "Schieb es auf einen Feldweg" einfach eine Art
Song darüber, weißt du, wenn ich mich verirre und du acht oder zehn Stunden lang nichts von mir hörst, Liebling,
kannst du es darauf schieben, dass ich einfach in irgendeiner Seitenstraße verschwinde
oder auf einem Feldweg, und ich werde zurück sein.
Aber im Moment werde ich hier hingehen, um nachzudenken.
Und hier werde ich mich für eine Weile verlieren.

Ich habe Lust, das Album von Thomas Rhett aufzudrehen und einen dieser Feldwege entlangzufahren.
Wäre eine perfekte Art, deinen Tag zu verbringen, meine Süße.
Ich meine, das Album ist nicht so lang, aber du kannst es auf Wiederholung stellen.
