الصمت عن بعض البشر يُعتبَر جود
ما كل هرج يستحق الإجابة
وإذا نِشَب للعاقل أهبل ومقرود
عن الوَحَل ما تسمو إلا السحابة

الرد ممكن ينقصِك وأنت في زود
والصمت بعض أحيان حكمة ومهابة
وش هيبة الغربان لو تنعق حشود
دام الأسد صامت وكلّن يهابه (الصمت)

(ما كل هرج يستحق الإجابة)
(وإذا نِشَب للعاقل أهبل ومقرود)
(عن الوَحَل ما تسمو إلا السحابة)

هالوَقت بعض فهوده ماتنجب فهود
وبعْض الذياب اشكال ماهي ذيابة

يغتابني التافِه وعندي له ردود
لكني أترفع شموخ وذرابة

أنا، أنا خوي الوافي وارقى به سنود

والعيب والعيب من راعيه ما هوب منقود
