いまは錆び付く 隼の
操縦席に手向けしは
真白きバラ 大輪の
手折られたとて瑞々しく
白雲くぐって

幾千万の苦しみ楽しみを葬り

のぼり続けるのならば忘れることなかれ
この国を護る英霊
祈りの中で
いつも見つめていると
故郷に宛て書く遺書に
滲む文字の 父母上
老いし彼らもとうに亡く
空の彼方で 共にあらん
過ぎゆく時代の先に
生まれ変われるなら
いつか記憶は薄れて
それは遠い世界の戦の話のように
語られるのだろう
でも我々はひとつの大きな魂が
流した血を授けられて
新しい生

Of a pure white rose, full in bloom
Even though it has been plucked, it is still fresh
Flying through white clouds
Like the life of the one who died
Buried with millions of sorrows and joy
That foundation becomes the tower of peace
If you want to keep climbing, never forget
The spirits protecting this country
In my prayers
I always watch
In a will written to my hometown
Tears blur the characters of "Dear Parents"
They have grown old and passed away
In the sky beyond, we will be together
Beyond the present times
If I can be reborn
Sometime, my memory will fade
It will be like a story of war in a distant world
They will talk about it
But we are a single, large soul
Given the blood that was shed
A new life
Let us continually connect to the future
This year, once again, a quiet summer day has arrived
Flowers possessing both dignity and transience bloom
Birds bearing strength and pride fly
