My soul finds rest in god alone / my salvation comes from him/ he alone is my rock, my salvation, my fortress / i shall never be afraid, i shall never be afraid.

Rest your heart not in riches, nor honor of the world / weighed out with the heart of god / these blow to nothingness, vanish like breath.

I am your strength, i am your deliverer, loving and merciful, father of all.

Meine Seele findet Ruhe allein in Gott / mein Heil kommt von ihm / Er allein ist mein Fels, mein Heil, meine Festung / ich werde niemals Angst haben, ich werde niemals Angst haben.

Vertraut auf ihn allezeit, o Volk Gottes / schüttet euer Herz vor ihm aus / Er ist unsere Zuflucht und er ist unsere Hoffnung.
II.
Setzt euer Herz nicht auf Reichtum, noch auf die Ehre der Welt / Gemessen am Herzen Gottes / verfliegen diese zu nichts, entschwinden wie ein Hauch.

Du selbst", Herr, hast gesagt: "
Ich bin deine Stärke, ich bin dein Erretter, liebend und barmherzig, Vater aller."
