ﻃﺎﻟﻤﺎ ﺍﺷﻜﻮ ﻏﺮﺍﻣﻰ ﻳﺎ ﻧﻮﺭ ﺍﻟﻮﺟﻮﺩ
ﻭﺍﻧﺎﺩﻯ ﻳﺎ ﺗﻬﺎﻣﻰ ﻳﺎ ﻣﻌﺪﻥ ﺍﻟﺠﻮﺩ
Tholama asyku ghoromi yaa nurol wujud
Wa unadi ya tihaami yaa ma'dinal juud
Lama sudah aku menanggung rindu;
Wahai cahaya alam yang indah!
Serta aku menyeru, Wahai Nabi!
Wahai punca ilmu yang pemurah!
ﻣﻨﻴﺘﻰ ﺍﻗﺼﻰ ﻣﺮﺍﻣﻰ ﺍﺣﻈﻰ ﺑﺎﻟﺸﻬﻮﺩ
ﻭﺍﺭﻯ ﺑﺎﺏ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ ﻳﺎ ﺯﺍﻛﻰ ﺍﻟﺠﺪﻭﺩ
Mun-yati aqshol maromi ahzho bissyuhud
Wa aro baabas salami yaa azkal judud
Impianku setinggi-tinggi cita-cita;
Moga diberikan tuah dapat melihatmu;
Juga melihat Bab al Salam (di Masjid Nabawi);
Wahai sesuci-suci insan!
ﻳﺎ ﻃﺮﺍﺯ ﺍﻟﻜﻮﻥ ﺍﻧﻰ ﻋﺎﺷﻖ ﻣﺴﺘﻬﺎﻡ
ﻣﻐﺮﻡ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﺪﺡ ﻓﻨﻰ ﻳﺎ ﺑﺪﺭ ﺍﻟﺘﻤﺎﻡ
Ya sirajal kauni inni aashiq mustaham
Mughramun wal Madhu fannii Ya Badrat Tamaam
Wahai hiasan dunia ini!
Aku amat cinta dan rindu padamu;
Hanya pujian menjadi persembahanku;
Wahai bulan mengambang penuh!
ﺍﺻﺮﻑ ﺍﻋﺮﺍﺿﺎ ﻋﻨّﻲ ﺍﺻﻨﺎﻧﻲ ﺍﻟﻐﺮﺍﻡ
ﻓﻴﻚ ﻗﺪ ﺍﺣﺴﻨﺖ ﻇﻨّﻲ ﻳﺎ ﺳﺎﻣﻰ ﺍﻟﻌﻬﻮﺩ
Ishrifil'aroodho' anni adhnaanis ghorom
Fiika qod ahsantu zhonni yaa saamil'uhud
Jauhkanlah segala penghalangku daripadamu;
Yang kupendam hanya kerinduan terhadapmu;
Padamu aku bersangka baik;
Wahai yang benar pada janjinya!
ﻳﺎ ﺳﺮﺍﺝ ﺍﻷﻧﺒﻴﺎﺀ ﻳﺎ ﻋﺎﻟﻲ ﺍﻟﺠﻨﺎﺏ
ﻳﺎ ﺇﻣﺎﻡ ﺍﻷﺗﻘﻴﺎﺀ ﺇﻥ ﻗﻠﺒﻲ ﺯﺍﺏ
Yaa sirojal anbiyaa-i yaa'alil janaab.
Yaa imaamal atqiyaa-i inna qolbi dzaab
Wahai pelita sekalian Rasul!
Wahai insan yang mempunyai setinggi-tinggi kedudukan!
Wahai Imam orang-orang yang bertaqwa!
Sesungguhnya hatiku terpaut padamu .
ﻭﻋﻠﻴﻚ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺭﺑﻰ ﺫﻭ ﺍﻟﺠﻼﻝ
ﻳﻜﻔﻰ ﻳﺎ ﻧﻮﺭ ﺍﻻﻫﻠﺔ ﺍﻥ ﻫﺠﺮﻯ ﻃﺎﻝ
Wa'alaikallahu sholla rabbi dzuljalal...
Yakfi yaa nurol ahillah inna hajri thool ...
Ke atasmu, moga Allah mencurahkan rahmat;
Tuhanku Yang Mempunyai Keagungan;
Cukuplah, wahai Cahaya Bulan!;
Sesungguhnya perpisahanku denganmu telah terlalu lama

Talma you seem to complain constantly of your love for me, O radiance of existence,
And you call out, O Tihami, O source of all good,
Tholama asyku ghoromi yaa nurol wujud
Wa unadi ya tihaami yaa ma'dinal juud
Whenever you have borne with your desire;
O light of the beautiful creation!
And I call, O Prophet,
O source of generous knowledge!
My desires are the utmost in their aims, I cling to (the hope of) witnessing you,
And I see the gate of peace, O you with the purest lineage,
Mun-yati aqshol maromi ahzho bissyuhud
Wa aro baabas salami yaa azkal judud
My dreams are as high as the aspiration of my resolve;
May I be granted the blessing of seeing you;
And also seeing the Gate of the House of Peace (in the Prophet's Mosque);
O you, the purest of pure beings!
O ornament of the universe, I am a desperately enamoured lover,
Besotted, and my essence has been annihilated, O full moon,
Ya sirajal kauni inni aashiq mustaham
Mughramun wal Madhu fannii Ya Badrat Tamaam
O light of the universe, I am a lover, desperately in love,
Consumed by passion for you and my self has vanished, O Full moon.
Turn away all that would keep me from you;
All I have is longing for you;
I have thought only good of you,
O you who keep all your promises,
Ishrifil'aroodho' anni adhnaanis ghorom
Fiika qod ahsantu zhonni yaa saamil'uhud
Keep away from me all that would turn me from you;
All I have is love for you;
I have thought only good of you,
O you who fulfill your every promise.
O lamp of the prophets,
O you of the most noble character,
O leader of the pious,
My heart is shattered,
Yaa sirojal anbiyaa-i yaa'alil janaab.
Yaa imaamal atqiyaa-i inna qolbi dzaab
O light of the prophets,
O you of the highest virtue,
O Imam of the righteous,
My heart is broken,
And may the blessings of God be upon you, my Lord of Glory;
It is enough, O light of the crescent moon, that my exile has been prolonged;
Wa'alaikallahu sholla rabbi dzuljalal...
Yakfi yaa nurol ahillah inna hajri thool ...
And may the blessings of God be upon you, my Lord of Majesty;...
Enough, O light of the new moon, for my exile has been long;
