un sorso di acqua e allora sarei io che darei da
bere a te
io che sono un Giudeo".
A quel forestiero rispose la donna
"Ma dove la trovi quest'acqua da bere
io vedo che non hai la secchia insieme a te
profondo è il pozzo sai vuoi dirmi come fai".
Lui la donna guardò
sorridente spiegò
"Non si trova nel pozzo quest'acqua di vita che
io ti darò".
E lei, e lei, e lei
era incredula
e lui, e lui, e lui
all'orecchio le si avvicinò
le bisbigliò qualcosa
e lei sbiancò.
"Tu sai tutto di me
mi vuoi dire chi sei
solamente un profeta conosce i segreti di

E quel forestiero di tanta bellezza
guardò quella donna con molta dolcezza
e disse "sono io colui che dici tu
se l'acqua mia berrai mai più tu morirai"
e la prima fu lei
a sapere di lui
che quell'uomo del pozzo era il figlio di
Dio chiamato Gesù.

The Stranger - Remastered

There's an oasis in the desert where one day, to
ask for water, a stranger stopped by
a foreigner
amongst the green palm trees, there was a well and a girl was there
her name was Sarah.
"You are a Jew" the woman told him
"With what courage do you ask me for a drink
it's been a thousand years and more that people like you
don't pass through here and don't speak with us
and you're the first one, but why do you do it
to the Samaritan woman, the Jews never asked for a bit of water".
"Woman, if you knew the stranger who stands here
before you
you would ask him
