Lately I've been feeling it the most
Health, mental and spiritual issues are what I'm composed of
And did I mention that I'm struggling with financial problems

That don't come as no surprise, everybody got em
Loneliness is taking over areas of my life
Is it who has a problem tryna do things right
I guess so

Cause everybody seems to have it under control

I will admit I get the feeling I'm not worth it
Passed up many open doors thinking I didn't deserve it

Till this day those thoughts still roam and remain
I keep doubting my music will drive me places that require a plane
Like Rome or Maine, yeah I know that's insane
The only reason that I say it, that's what people have said

Now we hit the topic of the voices in and outta my head so
Tell me then, who's to blame for all the things that they saying
All I'm saying is these problems don't affect me
Ironic how I'm lying in my second song of honesty

Honestly, I be having many troubles constantly
Keep a smile, make em smile, that's my only policy
Will they even tell the difference? Maybe so, possibly
Will they even take a listen? I don't know, probably

Here I go with all of my thoughts thinking out loud
I struggle with acceptance so I need to hear I'm proud
I've got issues with the people who be living by the fakeness
Partially why I write this is to tell y'all I'm a straight mess

I don't claim to be big, I don't claim to be clean
I just claim to be me, on this trail that I bleed
I got labels calling up, offering a dotted line
I got people offering labels, Christian artist where I draw the line

Ooh, I know I stirred some controversy up in that line
And I know I ain't lying, honesty two lay it all on the line
Can I speak a little more this time
Is being honest such a crime in these times?

I'm in my time of confusion, maybe my time of conclusion
I wrote a note to myself saying I'd give up the music
And at the time it felt right, but at the same time delusional

That's when I started the prayer, but yet the failure was usual
That's when I came to realization of a lie that I've been living for years
All the prayers that I've been sending have been based on my fears
All these milestones I've made I know ain't worthy of cheers

Cause I'm the fakest of all, and that's just me being real
I've been sewing in this craft but I have barely reaped a dime
Now I'm really starting to think that all this crap ain't worth my time
It's a dream that won't provide, mommas health is on the line

And my father's next in line, can't afford for them to buy me
Because the paper isn't truly that inspiring
It's the fact that it's their hope that I'm reviving
And from that hope will come the faith they've been declining

Hey, yeah, that's the reason I came to this
Game trying to change in this, still I'm the same in this
That could only mean that I was actually made for this
Everything that I am doing are results of all the times that I have been praying for this

Yeah, but this industry's a cold one
It affects you in the long run, and you're bound to lose some strong ones

Ehrlichkeit II

In letzter Zeit fühle ich es am meisten
Gesundheitliche, psychische und spirituelle Probleme sind das, woraus ich bestehe
Und habe ich erwähnt, dass ich mit finanziellen Problemen zu kämpfen habe?

Das ist keine Überraschung, jeder hat sie
Einsamkeit übernimmt Bereiche meines Lebens
Ist es der, der ein Problem hat, wenn er versucht, Dinge richtig zu machen?
Ich denke schon

Weil jeder es scheinbar unter Kontrolle hat

Ich gebe zu, ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich es nicht wert bin
Habe viele offene Türen vorbeiziehen lassen, weil ich dachte, ich hätte es nicht verdient

Bis zum heutigen Tag ziehen diese Gedanken immer noch umher und bleiben
Ich bezweifle immer wieder, dass meine Musik mich an Orte bringen wird, die ein Flugzeug erfordern
Wie Rom oder Maine, ja, ich weiß, das ist verrückt
Der einzige Grund, warum ich das sage, ist, dass andere Leute das gesagt haben

Jetzt kommen wir zum Thema der Stimmen in und außerhalb meines Kopfes, also
Sag mir dann, wer ist schuld an all den Dingen, die sie sagen?
Ich sage nur, dass diese Probleme mich nicht betreffen
Ironisch, wie ich in meinem zweiten Lied der Ehrlichkeit lüge

Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich ständig viele Probleme
Behalte ein Lächeln, bring sie zum Lächeln, das ist meine einzige Politik
Werden sie überhaupt den Unterschied bemerken? Vielleicht, möglicherweise
Werden sie überhaupt zuhören? Ich weiß es nicht, wahrscheinlich

Da bin ich wieder mit all meinen Gedanken, die ich laut denke
Ich kämpfe mit Akzeptanz, also muss ich hören, dass ich stolz bin
Ich habe Probleme mit den Leuten, die nach der Unechtheit leben
Teilweise schreibe ich das, um euch allen zu sagen, dass ich ein einziges Chaos bin

Ich behaupte nicht, groß zu sein, ich behaupte nicht, rein zu sein
Ich behaupte nur, ich selbst zu sein, auf diesem Weg, auf dem ich blute
Labels rufen an und bieten eine gepunktete Linie an
Leute bieten mir Labels an, christlicher Künstler, wo ich die Grenze ziehe

Ooh, ich weiß, ich habe in dieser Zeile einige Kontroversen ausgelöst
Und ich weiß, ich lüge nicht, Ehrlichkeit zwei, leg alles auf den Tisch
Kann ich dieses Mal etwas mehr sprechen?
Ist es in diesen Zeiten so ein Verbrechen, ehrlich zu sein?

Ist es das? Lass mich reden
Ich bin in meiner Zeit der Verwirrung, vielleicht in meiner Zeit des Abschlusses
Ich schrieb mir selbst eine Notiz, dass ich die Musik aufgeben würde
Und zu der Zeit fühlte es sich richtig an, aber gleichzeitig wahnhaft

Da begann ich mit dem Gebet, aber das Scheitern war wie immer
Da wurde mir eine Lüge klar, die ich seit Jahren lebe
All die Gebete, die ich gesendet habe, basierten auf meinen Ängsten
All diese Meilensteine, die ich erreicht habe, sind keinen Jubel wert, das weiß ich

Denn ich bin der Falscheste von allen, und das ist nur, dass ich ehrlich bin
Ich habe in dieses Handwerk investiert, aber kaum eine müde Mark geerntet
Jetzt fange ich wirklich an zu denken, dass all dieser Mist meine Zeit nicht wert ist
Es ist ein Traum, der nichts bringt, die Gesundheit meiner Mama steht auf dem Spiel

Und mein Vater ist der Nächste, ich kann es mir nicht leisten, dass sie für mich aufkommen
Weil das Papier nicht wirklich so inspirierend ist
Es ist die Tatsache, dass ich ihre Hoffnung wiederbelebe
Und aus dieser Hoffnung wird der Glaube entstehen, den sie verloren haben

Hey, ja, deshalb bin ich zu diesem gekommen
Spiel, in dem ich versuche, mich zu ändern, aber ich bin immer noch derselbe
Das kann nur bedeuten, dass ich tatsächlich dafür geschaffen wurde
Alles, was ich tue, ist das Ergebnis all der Male, die ich dafür gebetet habe

Ja, aber diese Branche ist eine kalte
