Latinoamérica está desunida
La unión de naciones hermanas

El venezolano siempre fue cortés
Yo crecí con colombiano', italiano' y portugués
Con peruano', con chileno'
Pekinés, cantones
Conviviendo en la misma tierra todos a la vez

Venezuela fue una tierra de bonanza
Donde muchos vinieron de afuera
Y encontraron esperanza
Porque nosotros la pusimos panza
Porque eso nos caracteriza
Somos solidarios de crianza

Pero hoy en día los tiempos cambiaron y
Lamentablemente se acabaron aquellos días de gloria
Y ahora que el mal momento le toco al venezolano
Los países hermanos se olvidaron de su historia

He visto videos de xenofobia
Diciendo que nos odian
Tratando a venezolanos como escoria
Molestos porque pagan impuestos y papeleos
Y que nosotros le quitamos oportunidad de empleo
Que trajimos violencia y malandreo
Que somos unos asesinos
Y otro montón de argumentos feos

Y toda herida tiene cicatrices, me parece
Injusto que por unos cuantos nos generalicen
Nos maltraten, nos humillen y nos pisen
¿Cuál es nuestro crimen emigrar para intentar ser más felices?

Me indignan esos actos tan penosos
Escuchar un latino expresarse de modo tan espantoso
Países que pasaron por lo mismo que nosotros
Devaluación, represión, persecución y acoso
Condénenme si soy un mentiroso
Y no generalizo esto es directamente con los prejuiciosos
Pero es que pareciera que algunos panas peruanos
Olvidaron los tiempos del sendero luminoso

O que algunos hermanos colombianos olvidaron
Los tiempos violentos cuando el café bajó de precio
Cuando el Bolívar valía más que el peso
Muchos se fueron pa' Venezuela

En búsqueda de un progreso
Un panameño debería entenderlo
Ellos también sufrieron una dictadura y un narco gobierno
Pero hay algunos que lo olvidaron y el odio los ciega
A pesar del infierno que vivieron con Noriega

Supongo que los chilenos comprenden
Tras aquel golpe de estado a Salvador Allende un 11 de septiembre
Que dio paso a una terrible dictadura
Y a 17 años de violencia, represión y de tortura

Argentina también sabe que es difícil
Conocen la inflación, la devaluación y lo que es una crisis
Como la del 8-9 y 2001
La nevera vacía sin siquiera un huevo para el desayuno

Mi intención no es que se sientan ofendidos
Sino de recordarles por toda la mierda que hemos vivido
Y que tenemos algo en común para estar unidos
Y es que históricamente
Por siempre nos han jodido

Heridas que han intentado cubrirlas
Pero son imborrables por las cicatrices de las esquirlas
Prohibido olvidarlas o deshacirlas
Porque un pueblo que olvida su historia está obligado a repetirla

Because of human stupidity and its aggressive behavior
Racism for me is worse than AIDS
It's worse than the coronavirus or any known pandemic
For it has existed all our lives
And for ignorance there is no vaccine, it is with education that it is eliminated

The Venezuelan was always courteous
I grew up with Colombians, Italians and Portuguese
With Peruvians, with Chileans
Pekingese, Cantonese
Living together in the same land all at once

Venezuela was a land of bonanza
Where many came from outside
And found hope
Because we gave it our all
Because that characterizes us
We are supportive by nature

But nowadays times have changed and
Unfortunately those days of glory are over
And now that the bad times have come to the Venezuelan
The brother countries have forgotten their history

I have seen videos of xenophobia
Saying they hate us
Treating Venezuelans like scum
Upset because they pay taxes and paperwork
And that we take away their job opportunities
That we brought violence and crime
That we are murderers
And a bunch of other ugly arguments

And every wound has scars, it seems to me
Unfair that for a few they generalize us
They mistreat us, humiliate us and step on us
What is our crime to emigrate to try to be happier?

I am outraged by these painful acts
To hear a Latino express himself in such a dreadful way
Countries that went through the same as us
Devaluation, repression, persecution and harassment
Condemn me if I am a liar
And I don't generalize, this is directly with the prejudiced
But it seems that some Peruvian buddies
Forgot the times of the Shining Path

Or that some Colombian brothers forgot
The violent times when the price of coffee fell
When the Bolívar was worth more than the peso
Many went to Venezuela

In search of progress
A Panamanian should understand it
