Təbiətim ağır idi mən tək sənə ağlamışdım

I forgot how to write while forgetting to forget
I made my mother old, I forgot to dry her tears
I am so tired of comforting my left hand with my right hand
I am afraid to wake you up in the sweetest part of your sleep

That what I fear might suddenly come true
I got used to the pain without you, until this age
I didn’t see its value, my tears didn’t deserve it
I put you in my poem, you put my words on the ground

You know what you reminded me of, you made me cold to myself
I don’t reach the shore, any news from the sea?
Remember, we didn’t meet, and in the end, we reunited
How much we cried then, from our happiness

My nature was heavy, I only cried to you
I didn’t have a single doubt that you loved me so much
She was forced to do that, I didn’t hold her arm
I knew from your voice that you would leave without her

If you love someone, you must hold their hand firmly
And their palms should sweat in every season
Even if they complain and pull their hand away
You shouldn’t let them go, you should lean on their back

If you love someone, you should be afraid of losing them
You should be afraid of bringing up separation on every journey
If you love someone, you have to forget someone
Even when you love someone, you still hope in someone else
