When I walked the path,
Transformed into a little bird,
I was searching for my home,
I haven't slept there for so long.
My people used to live there,
I thought of them with sadness,
Will the house still be alive,
Will it open its heavy doors?
Will they accept me or send me away?
I recognized it from the wind's echo,
From the wrinkled face of the window,
No one let me in.
I turned into a threshold,
A singing bird's little grave,
Where I feel good, I lie there.
