شهره ی شهرِ عقل را
همچو اسیر می بری
دوش نخفت چشمِ من
چشم تو بود و لشکری

شعله زبانه می کشد

باز میان خوابِ خود
سجده کنان نشسته ام
طعنه به آسمان زده
هُرمِ حَرم شکسته ام
زلفِ عبادتِ مرا
دستِ تو تاب می دهد
کفر به دستِ خود مرا
ساغرِ ناب می دهد
دستِ عطش به جان من
کاسه ی آب می دهد
کوزه ی جانِ من چرا
بوی شراب می دهد؟
بوسه به پای بت زدم
کعبه ی دل تباه شد
پرده به پرده آسمان
سوخته شد، سیاه شد

O captivator of the city of reason

A flame flickers and grows
