Море, плещет море,

Старый корабельщик

Просит корабельщик
Соблюсти обычай, но хозяин отвечал:
Мне нужнее жемчуг,

И не ждали горя,
Но взъярилась бурей бездна волн на третью ночь.
Чёрной волною
Смыло за борт чадо – то была купцова дочь.
В дань забирает море
Самое дорогое,
Жемчужина всех дороже
Отнята судьбой – морской водой
