Be free to be, even if no one else understands

Your life will be hard and that's okay.
You'll be kinder and more beautiful for it.
Persevere and trust your fire and it'll lead you to your light

So just keep on being yourself and dressing how you want
And talking how you want and living how you want
Because it all turns out to be the right path

You're going to go through a lot, but you're going to survive it
And you'll be fine. In fact, you'll be better than fine.
You're going to grow up to do great things
And you know the sky's the limit

Wir kämpfen für Freiheit, und egal, was passiert oder

Dein Leben wird hart sein, und das ist okay.
Du wirst dadurch gütiger und schöner.
Halte durch und vertraue deinem Feuer, und es wird dich zu deinem Licht führen.

Also bleib einfach du selbst und kleide dich, wie du willst,
und rede, wie du willst, und lebe, wie du willst,
denn am Ende wird sich alles als der richtige Weg erweisen.

Du wirst viel durchmachen, aber du wirst es überleben.
