Whispers of longing in a poem,
A melody resounding in your heart.
It murmurs of a sorrow deep,
In solitude's aching beat.
It dispels the restless night,
With yearnings for a soul to meet,
In the enchanted realm of dreams,
Where Eden's verdant tapestry gleams.
Your heart's desire shall come to pass,
A queen created from your rib,
From your essence, Eve shall live,
A gift from the heavens, love to give.
Adam awoke, love's touch profound,
A dream come true, he couldn't believe,
Who is this being, so pure and divine?
Adam asked, his heart aflame,
I am your companion, fulfilling your fate.
Eve replied, her cheeks a-flush,
Unbounded joy, a love not to crush.
Praise be to God.
But your reason waned,
Corrupted by the devil's insidious plan,
Humanity's eternal foe,
The forbidden tree's allure,
Its fruit, a tempting lure,
And in its wake, our shame laid bare,
The guilt of actions, beyond compare,
Repentance sought at God's sacred throne,
We have wronged ourselves, our souls alone,
If you do not forgive,
And show us mercy, we shall perish.
Grant us pardon,
For our transgressions.
We seek your forgiveness,
Oh Lord.
Adam and Eve,
Cast down from heaven's embrace,
To Earth, as their penance,
Eve to the east,
Adam to the west,
Separated for years, by fate's cruel jest.
Finally, their love reunited,
On the sacred plains of Arafah,
Through sacrifice and unwavering faith,
Their love reborn, their souls awash.
In paradise, their love shall bloom,
Their fall from grace, a mere footnote,
For it marked the beginning of humanity's doom,
