Krieg Geschenke und frag mich obs ueberhaupt einen Sinn hat
Was soll aus mir werden, was sind meine Ziele im Leben
Mir und den Menschen um mich rum moeglichst viel Liebe zu geben?
Naja, klingt schonmal gut, doch gibts da auch was Konkretes?
Denn manchmal krieg ich das Gefuehl, das es dafuer bald schon zu spaet ist
Traeume aus dem Kindergarten hab ich laengst vergessen
Wenn mann mich fragt: "Was willst du werden?", stammel ich und nenn Interessen
In der Schule hat mich auch nicht vieles weiter gebracht
Ich hab zwar manches gelernt, doch es ist eigentlich ein Knast
Nichts mit Lebensperspektiven, nichts mit eigenem Denken
Man hat versucht uns immer alle auf das Gleiche zu lenken
Und als ich meinen Abschluss hatte, stand ich dann da
Und kam genauso wenig wie die meisten Anderen klar

Ich hab keine beste Taktik, doch weiss, die hier ist gut genug
Mit ein bisschen Glueck, und noch viel mehr Fleiss und einem guten Ruck
Hab ich bald den aller besten Beweis, das das alles wirklich stimmt
Erkenn meinen Traum und brech durch das Eis, damit ich gluecklich bin
Kein Zoegern, keine Vorsicht, wenn dieses Wesen hervor sticht
Bis dahin hoer und erforsch ich, was aus dem innern ins Ohr spricht
Arbeite versteckt und werd frueh genug offensichtlich
Fall oefter mal auf die Fresse, doch dafuer ist Hoffen wichtig
Fuer jeden ders geschafft hat, jeden ders noch schaffen wird
Genauso sehr fuer jeden, der bevor ers noch schafft stirbt
Es ist egal wo man steht, jede Handlung ist wichtig
Und auf dem Weg zu diesem Ziel ist der Tod auch nur ein Lichtblick
Nichts davon ist nur gelaber, nichts davon hochgestochen
Ich hab aus Angst vor dem Sterben schon laengst mit dem Tod gesprochen
Bin im Dunkeln ertrunken und wieder ins Boot gekrochen
Und seit diesem Tag ist fuer mich alles nach oben offen
