E disse: Eu quero ser batizado com fogo
Mas pra ficar assim eu não quero e nem creio
Jesus Cristo usou um vaso na congregação
Enviou onde estava aquele irmão
E disse: "Eu vou te batizar num ônibus cheio"

Ai, o irmão tocou no outro irmão que estava ao seu lado e disse
Essa profecia não foi pra mim
Porque eu sou dono de uma grande empresa, tenho uma frota de carro
Não ando de ônibus
É... Mas o que Deus fala, Deus cumpre

Passado alguns dias, certo dia ele acorda pra ir pra sua empresa
Tenta ligar o primeiro carro e ele não pega
Vai para o segundo carro e não pega
E assim foi, um a um, o Espírito Santo não deixou nenhum pegar

Quando chegou no último carro ele lembrou da profecia e pensou
Pronto, vai se cumprir hoje, mas eu não vou de ônibus, eu vou de taxi
É... Mas veja só como Deus faz

E foi para a parada esperar um taxi
O que passava estava cheio pra agonia dele
E de repente para um ônibus pra onde ele ia
E o mesmo estava lotado, só cabia ele

Eu chego atrasado, mas nesse não vou
De repente, lá vem outro, para o seu alívio
Jesus teve misericórdia, e chegou a benção
Do mesmo que passou, só que agora vazio

Aí, o irmão pensou
Pronto, o ônibus ta vazio e a profecia não pode se cumprir
Minha empresa não é tão longe, não vai dar pra encher
É... Mas de repente o irmão começa a lembrar daquele culto abençoado
Esquece a profecia e começa a glorificar

Ô glória, ô culto gostoso, ô glória a Jesus
E o irmão, glorificando nem percebe que aquele ônibus que passou cheio quebrou
E o povo teve que passar todinho pro ônibus que ele estava
É... Ele ficou ligado, dando glória, aleluia

De repente, num certo momento, Jesus "pow"
Batiza o irmão com o Espírito Santo
O irmão começa a falar em língua estranha
Não se contenta em ficar sentado, fica de pé e começa a marchar
Todo bem arrumado, engravatado e o ônibus vira alvoroço

O motorista para o ônibus e pergunta
Que negócio é esse que está acontecendo ai?
Alguém diz: Motorista, tem um homem aqui dentro que ficou doido
Tá falando uma língua que ninguém entende
E quando a gente toca nele leva choque
Meu Deus do céu! O que a gente faz?
Ah, vamos descer esse camarada aí, chamar o guarda pra fazer alguma coisa
Levar pro hospital ou pro manicômio, aqui dentro ele não pode ficar

É...

Foi uma dificuldade pra descer o irmão
E todo povo desceu pra ver no que daria
Fizeram uma roda, aquela multidão
Era tanto benzimento, tanto ave-maria

Foram chamar o guarda que já foi difícil
Abrir caminho entre o povo que estava lá
E quando o guarda viu o irmão, se abraçou com ele
E em línguas, também começou a falar

Não era que o guarda era crente e batizado
Com o Espírito Santo, já entendia o mistério?

Aí gente, ninguém encosta, não ninguém encosta que esse negócio pega

Na cozinha, na sala, no quarto, na varanda, varrendo
Lavando louça, passando pano na casa, como estiver

Desde jeito é o Deus da Bíblia Sagrada
Ele decide e faz do jeito que ele quer
Se ele promete, cumpre; Ele nunca falha
É desse jeito, esse é o jeito que Ele é

Não se preocupe, irmão, somente dê glória
Deixa o povo dizer que é coisa absurda
Arrebenta tudo, mas o que Ele fala, cumpre
Mesmo que pra o mundo pareça loucura

Baptism on the Bus

Hey brother, look what God does when man says no.
Just listen to this!

A certain brother had the desire to be baptized,
With divine fire, to be Pentecostal.
And he went to a celebration, a blessed service,
Where the mount was smoking, it was total fire!

In the midst of that fire, a little sister, full of the Spirit,
Baptized by Jesus, rose from the bench.
She started marching and dancing in the church,
And the brother seeing that, immediately doubted.

And said, "I want to be baptized with fire,
But to be like that, I don't want to, and I don't believe it."
Jesus Christ used a vessel in the congregation,
Sent where that brother was,
And said, "I will baptize you on a crowded bus."

Oh, the brother touched the other brother who was beside him and said,
"This prophecy wasn't for me,
Because I own a big company, I have a fleet of cars,
I don't ride buses."
Yeah... But what God speaks, God fulfills.

A few days later, one day he wakes up to go to his company,
He tries to start the first car and it won't start.
He goes to the second car, and it doesn't start,
And so it was, one by one, the Holy Spirit didn't let any of them start.

When he got to the last car, he remembered the prophecy and thought,
"Well, it's going to happen today, but I'm not taking the bus, I'm taking a taxi."
Yeah... But see how God works!

And he went to the bus stop to wait for a taxi.
Every taxi that passed was full, to his agony,
And suddenly a bus came for where he was going,
And it was also packed, only room for him.

"I'm late, but I'm not taking this one," he thought.
Suddenly, another one comes along, to his relief,
Jesus had mercy, and the blessing arrived,
The same one that passed, only now empty.

Then, the brother thought,
"Well, the bus is empty, and the prophecy can't be fulfilled.
My company isn't that far, it's not going to fill up."
Yeah... But suddenly the brother starts remembering that blessed service,
He forgets the prophecy and begins to glorify.

"Oh glory, oh sweet service, oh glory to Jesus!"
And the brother, glorifying, doesn't even realize that the bus that passed full, broke down,
And all the people had to transfer to the bus he was on.
Yeah... He stayed focused, giving glory, hallelujah!

Suddenly, at a certain moment, Jesus "pow!"
Baptizes the brother with the Holy Spirit.
The brother starts speaking in a strange language,
He doesn't settle for sitting down, he stands up and starts marching,
All well dressed, wearing a tie, and the bus turns into an uproar.

The bus driver stops the bus and asks,
"What's this business that's going on back there?"
Someone says: "Driver, there's a man in here who's gone crazy,
He's speaking a language that nobody understands,
And when we touch him we get shocked.
My God! What do we do?"
"Ah, let's get this guy off, call the police to do something,
Take him to the hospital or the asylum, he can't stay in here."

Yeah...

It was a struggle to get the brother off the bus,
And everyone got off to see what would happen.
They made a circle, that crowd,
There were so many blessings, so many Hail Marys.

They went to call the police, which was already difficult,
To make their way through the crowd that was there.
And when the officer saw the brother, he embraced him
And in tongues, he also began to speak.

Hallelujah, oh glory to God!
Wasn't it that the officer was a believer and baptized,
With the Holy Spirit, already understood the mystery?
That's when the people were astonished and said,
"Hey people, nobody touch him, nobody touch him because this thing is contagious!"

And it is contagious, brother, start glorifying God wherever you are,
Because Jesus can fill you with power today.
In the kitchen, in the living room, in the bedroom, on the porch, sweeping,
Washing dishes, mopping the house, however you are,
Glorify Him!

This is the God of the Holy Bible,
He decides and does things His way.
If He promises, He fulfills; He never fails.
That's how He is, that's His way.

Don't worry, brother, just give glory.
Let people say it's absurd.
Break everything, but what He says, He fulfills,
Even if it seems crazy to the world.
