wir fuhren das Auto auf das oberste Deck des Parkhauses
4. Juli
saßen auf der Motorhaube mit ein paar warmen Bieren
und sahen zu, wie das Feuerwerk am Himmel explodierte
und es gab einen Exodus der Vögel in den Bäumen
weil sie nicht wussten, dass wir nur vortäuschten
und die Leute sahen alle auf und schienen erfreut
und die Vögel flogen herum, als ob die ganze Welt unterginge

ich glaube nicht, dass Krieg edel ist
und ich mag den Gedanken nicht, dass Liebe wie Krieg ist
aber ich habe eine große heiße Kirschbombe
und ich will sie durch den Briefschlitz
deiner Haustür schieben

und jetzt kannst du mich nicht hier lassen
ich halte dir jetzt den Rücken frei
