Бедным пастухам, что в поле лежали,
В поле лежали, овец стерегли,
В холодную зимнюю, глубокую ночь.

Родился Царь Израилев!
Они подняли взгляд и увидели звезду,
Сияющую на Востоке, вдали от них,
И земле она дарила яркий свет,
И так продолжалось день и ночь.

Родился Царь Израилев!
И по свету той же звезды,
Три мудреца пришли из далекой страны,
Искать Царя было их намерением,
И следовать за звездой, куда бы она ни шла.

Звезда приблизилась к северо-западу,
Над Вифлеемом она остановилась,
И там она замерла и осталась,
Прямо над местом, где лежал Иисус.
