Well then, we will go to the cool water
On the sea that they will no longer know
And we will bring back from our fishing
The truest fish that have been seen
And we will become, in our spare time, some more little fishermen.

One day, after a long journey, they will come back to our place
Aboard a triple rocket, made of metal from who knows where
There, thinking to find a Moon, not yet explored
They will be amazed to see a green plain and golden fields
Then, my, our sons will know how to tell them
That we are not so badly off on this piece of land
That there we still take time to laugh
