श्री गणेशाय नमः

नमस्तेस्तू महामाये श्रीपिठे सूरपुजिते ।
शंख चक्र गदा हस्ते महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥१॥

नमस्ते गरूडारूढे कोलासूर भयंकरी ।
सर्व पाप हरे देवी महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥२॥

सर्वज्ञे सर्ववरदे सर्वदुष्ट भयंकरी ।
सर्व दुःख हरे देवी महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥३ ॥

सिद्धीबुद्धूीप्रदे देवी भुक्तिमुक्ति प्रदायिनी ।
मंत्रमूर्ते सदा देवी महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥४॥

आद्यंतरहिते देवी आद्यशक्ती महेश्वरी ।
योगजे योगसंभूते महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥५॥

स्थूल सूक्ष्म महारौद्रे महाशक्ती महोदरे ।
महापाप हरे देवी महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥६॥

पद्मासनस्थिते देवी परब्रम्हस्वरूपिणी ।
परमेशि जगन्मातर्र महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥७॥

श्वेतांबरधरे देवी नानालंकार भूषिते ।
जगत्स्थिते जगन्मार्त महालक्ष्मी नमोस्तूते ॥८॥

महालक्ष्म्यष्टकस्तोत्रं यः पठेत् भक्तिमान्नरः ।
सर्वसिद्धीमवाप्नोति राज्यं प्राप्नोति सर्वदा ॥९॥

एककाले पठेन्नित्यं महापापविनाशनं ।
द्विकालं यः पठेन्नित्यं धनधान्य समन्वितः ॥१०॥

त्रिकालं यः पठेन्नित्यं महाशत्रूविनाशनं ।
महालक्ष्मीर्भवेन्नित्यं प्रसन्ना वरदा शुभा ॥११॥

॥इतिंद्रकृत श्रीमहालक्ष्म्यष्टकस्तवः संपूर्णः ॥

Salutations to Lord Ganesha

Salutations to you, O great Goddess, revered in the holy place of Shripitha, worshipped by the gods.
You hold the conch, the discus, and the club in your hands, O Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥1॥

Salutations to you, O Goddess, who rides on Garuda and terrifies the demon Kola.
You remove all sins, O Goddess Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥2॥

You are all-knowing, you grant all boons, and you terrify all the wicked.
You remove all sorrows, O Goddess Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥3॥

You grant accomplishments and wisdom, O Goddess, you give devotion and liberation.
You are the embodiment of the mantra, O Goddess Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥4॥

You are without beginning or end, O Goddess, the primordial power, the consort of Maheshvara.
You are united with yoga, you are born of yoga, O Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥5॥

You are subtle and gross, you are the great cosmic dance, the great womb.
You remove great sins, O Goddess Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥6॥

You are seated in the lotus posture, O Goddess, you are the embodiment of the supreme Brahman.
You are the supreme Goddess, the mother of the world, O Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥7॥

You wear white garments, O Goddess, you are adorned with various ornaments.
You are the sustainer of the world, the mother of the world, O Mahalaxmi, I bow down to you. ॥8॥

He who recites this Mahalaxmi Ashtakam Stotra with devotion gains all accomplishments.
He attains sovereignty and enjoys it for all time. ॥9॥

He who recites it once a day destroys great sins.
He who recites it twice a day is endowed with wealth and grains. ॥10॥

He who recites it three times a day destroys great enemies.
Mahalaxmi is always pleased with him, she grants him boons and auspiciousness. ॥11॥
