The End of the Night

"Never hurry, but never stand still,"
Goethe's words encourage my weary feet. Even heroes didn't have wings, you know.
They, too, walked this earth as humans.
Stumbling, recovering, pushing forward, all of these are the pulse of life.
The same flower never blooms twice, such is the transient nature of things.
Beat after beat from emotion, a discovery. This is my continent of passion.
I advance, accepting the high risk. Miracles don't just fall from the sky.
They're something you create yourself, right here.
Holding a single flag against the battering wind,
I feel its weight as my reason for being. I tread firmly on reality, a challenge to the future.
Newly born passion, overflowing motivation.
I watch the western sky slowly darken, the sun completely disappearing.
I feel like I'm the only one left behind amidst the fading bustle.
So, I look up to the heavens. "Your night isn't the only dark one,"
the starlight tells me. The moonlight melts my monochrome ideals.
"Change the reality in front of you."
The righteousness gleaned from textbooks
doesn't seem very useful here.
Even my sharp-witted sophistry has softened and rounded,
dissolving into the vast, wide sky. Will I be a flower that waits motionless for love,
or a rolling stone with tattered beliefs?
I choose the latter. I'll let myself be wounded again and again, for the sake of moving forward.

At the end of this yearning, the sun will surely rise.
Doubting the endlessness of impossibility, I put one foot in front of the other.
Holding the philosophy bloomed in suffering close to my heart,
I tear through the thick darkness, letting the life within me resonate.

Complaints and action have an inversely proportional relationship.
I put away my excuses and vow to strive with all my might. I let go of eternity and live in this moment.
I fear nothing. My lyrics are invincible.
I'll respond with my presence to the wind coming from far away. I'll live with dignity.
Dreams + action = stay gold. Climbing the spiral staircase, a shining life.
I respect the ideal me that's one step ahead, and I aspire to be him.
Step by step, I draw closer.
He's an indomitable hero, accomplishing everything within his power.
There are things I can't do,
and things only I can do. I continue to hone those.
It's a natural thing. Just as the forest nurtures its green, people look forward and move forward with strength.

It wasn't when I tried to change someone else,
but when I tried to change myself that light spilled onto the pitch-black canvas.
Humans are given trials and weaknesses to become stronger.
Come on, let's begin. Let's become stronger, my indomitable comrades.
Wind, flowers, forest, sun, mountains, rivers, valleys, and storms,
