To present the man that made this one possible
Her father wh- Reverend C.L. Franklin of Detroit, Michigan

At this time, we'd like to welcome down front
A young lady who certainly is a legend in her own time
And a young woman who is among many of the people
Who inspired this great singer tonight
And we thought tonight to honor her
By bringing her right down front
A young lady who is still very much deeply rooted in gospel
And I speak of none other than the famous Ms. Clara Ward

Kind to get us started tonight
And let me tell you somethin'

I know there are a lot of spectators
And a lot of folk that might not know anything about the lord
