時々サメにいじめられるけど

一日泳げば腹ペコさ 目玉もくるくる回っちゃう
たまにはエビでも食わなけりゃ
塩水ばかりじゃふやけてしまう
いわばの影から食い付けば それは小さな釣り針だった

どんなにどんなにもがいても針が喉から取れないよ
浜辺で見知らぬおじさんが僕を釣り上げびっくりしてた

やっぱり僕はたいやきさ
少し焦げあるたいやきさ
おじさんつばを飲み込んで
僕をうまそうに食べたのさ

Swim! Taiyaki Boy

Every single day we're grilled on the griddle
And we're getting so tired of the same routine
One morning I had a fight with the shop owner
And I escaped into the sea

I swam for the first time to the bottom of the sea and it felt so good
Even though the bean paste in my belly is heavy
The sea is vast and my heart is racing
Pink coral waves its arms and watches me swim by

Every single day is full of fun
The shipwreck is my new home
Sometimes sharks bully me
But when that happens, I just run away

After swimming all day, I'm starving and my eyes are spinning
I have to eat some shrimp every now and then
Because saltwater alone makes me soggy
When I went to take a bite out of the seaweed's shadow, it was a tiny fishing hook

No matter how much I struggled, I couldn't get the hook out of my throat
A stranger on the beach was so surprised when he pulled me out of the water

I'm just a taiyaki after all
A slightly burnt taiyaki
With a gulp, the man ate me up
And I was so delicious
