My star is a barren wasteland, covered in deadly gas.

A way to escape my misery.
My songs are not meant to uplift you.
They're just reflections of my own,
My own despair.
And yet, for some reason,
They reach you.
Sometimes, I receive letters from across the universe.
They tell me lines like,

My songs may be sad,
But if they can light up your world,
Then that's my purpose.
That's why I live.
