Every night, a ruthless tiger chooses
A victim and steals their most precious gift.
They urge her to pay heed to the sounds
Of the night and be careful to protect her

The following morning, the antelope
Sadly discover that Inez has lost her speed.
The next day, Genevieve has lost her
Dreams. The day after that, Anne has lost
Her courage.
Repulsed by the tiger′s avarice, the girl
