Doch ich sag: das Gegenteil ist leider hier der Fall
Mir geht es um das Frühstück, alles andere ist egal
Was sie mir so erzählte, ist vergessen und vorbei
Ich dachte permanent nur an ihr perfektes Frühstücksei

Ich werde dann mal gehen, es ist schon spät am Tag
Nachher geht′s zu Susi, morgen dann zu Tina
Am Wochenende treffe ich Natascha und Carina
Ich bleibe nachts bei Ihnen, um sie zu überlisten

Now you ask me, where in the world can you get something like that?
And who has so beautifully prepared all these gifts?

Now one might think, I'm in heaven
And I'd have to fall in love with this woman right away
But I say the opposite is the case here
I'm all about the breakfast, everything else doesn't matter
What she told me is forgotten and over
I thought constantly only of her perfect breakfast egg
And only and solely because of all the beautiful gifts
I put up with her the whole long night before
