To the sweet post of her tenderness
My chains were woven with love
I was a martyr to her caresses
I was happy, was I despicable?
But I loved her, she was a woman

One day the timid and fragile bird
Came to speak to me of freedom
She tore its wings off
The bird died with the summer
And that day it was the drama
And despite everything she was a woman
Woman with a W all gray, fatality

At the hour of truth
There was a woman and a child
The child that I had remained
Against life, against time
I nestled in my soul
And I understood that she was a woman
