Veneremur cernui:
Et antiquum documentum
Novo cedat ritui:
Praestet fides supplementum
Sensuum defectui.

Tantum Ergo

Let us therefore adore this Sacrament, my dearest,
make obeisance with awe;
Let ancient symbols cede to the status new,
let faith in our hearts be true;
of its service pure and devout,
our senses may often doubt.

To the Father, Son, and Spirit,
praise, honor, and delight,
blessings, glory, and might,
be forever their right:
May the triune God inherit
our loving praise and merit.
