Now God seen some sinnin' and it gave him a pain

Tou build me a floating Zoo.

Well ol' Noah was there to answer the call
And he finished up makin' the ark just as the rain started to fall
He marched in the animals two by two
And he called out as they went through.

Hey Lord, I got your green alligators and long neck geese
Some humpty back camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants
But Lord, I'm so forlorn, I just can't see no unicorn.

And then Noah looked out through the driving rain
And them unicorns were hidin' playin' silly little games
Kickin' and a splashin' while the rain was pourin'
Oh, them silly unicorns.

Noah cried, close the door 'cause the rain's a pourin'
And we just don't wait on an ol' unicorn.

Well, the ark started moving and it drifted with the tide
The unicorns looked up from the rocks and they cried
And the waters came down and just sorta floated 'em away
And that's why you've never seen a unicorn to this very day.

Что ж, старина Ной был там, чтобы ответить на звонок.

Но, Боже, я так несчастна, я просто не вижу единорога.

И тут Ной выглянул из окна сквозь проливной дождь.
А единороги прятались, играя в глупые игры.
Брыкались и плескались, пока лил дождь.
О, эти глупые единороги.

Зеленые аллигаторы и длинношеие гуси
Какие-то верблюды-шалтаи и шимпанзе.
Ной закричал: "закрой дверь, потому что идет дождь".
И мы просто не ждем старого единорога.

Итак, ковчег начал двигаться, и его унесло течением.
Единороги подняли глаза со скал и закричали.
А вода спустилась и просто как бы унесла их прочь
Вот почему ты до сих пор ни разу не видел единорога.

Ты увидишь зеленых аллигаторов и длинношеих гусей.
Какие-то верблюды-шалтаи и шимпанзе.
Есть кошки, крысы и слоны, но это так же верно, как то, что ты родился.
Ты никогда не увидишь единорога...
