She say, "You must be joking", I said, "I wish I was"

At least that's what I think I hear her say
I say, "How would you know, and what would it matter anyway?"
She says "You just don't seem like you do"

She says, "Which ones have you read then?", I said, I've read Erica Jong"
She goes away for a minute, and I slide out, out of my chair
I head back to the busy street, but nobody's going anywhere

Красит свою руку.

Она достаёт руку из-за уха,
Говорит: "Рисуйте, я здесь",
Чертую линии, показываю ей,
Она бросает салфетку:
"Не похоже!"

Я: "О, милая, очень похоже",
Она: "Шутите?" Я: "Хотел бы",
Она: "Вы не читаете женщин-авторов?"
