Ich hab seit neustem einen neuen Job, yeah

Denn ich schufte, und das ist nicht übertrieben
Fast ohne Luft zu holen 24-7
Selbst an Feiertagen und sogar Nachts!
Es gibt immer einen dummen der machts

Und ich muss Dinge machen, die sind richtig schlimm
Für die ich gar nicht richtig ausgebildet bin
Für die brauchst Du echt Nerven aus Staaaahl
Und ich werde dafür noch nicht mal bezahlt

Ja, wirklich wahr verdammt
Im Grunde ist mein neuer Job ein Ehrenamt
Und den hab ich jetzt soweit
Ich das überblicken kann, auf Lebenszeit

Arbeitsbedingungen die einen quäl'n
Darüber haben sich viele Leute einiges zu erzähl'n
Doch das womit ich alle übertreff
Sind die Geschichten von meinem neuen Chef

Ich hab jetzt einen neuen Chef, yeah yeah
Ein Chef mit dem ich alle übertreff, mit dem ich alle überteff
So'n Chef, wie ihn, kennt man aus dem FF, ein echt heftiger Chef
Er ist kein Hund der beißt, eher einer der viel kläfft

Ein kolerischer trotziger Tyrann
Es gibt Tage man echt ey, da kotzt er mich an
Ich kassierte von ihm auch schon so manches
Mal, ein wirklich ganz schönen Anschiss

Und obendrein
Pinkelt er mir gern auch mal ans Bein
Das ist für Ihn anschein'd 'ne Art Sport
Und er will immer alles jetzt sofort
Alles was er sieht muss er sich sofort krall'n
Doch kaum hat er's in der Hand, lässt er es wieder fall'n

Und dabei kuckt er immer ganz unschuldig
Und er ist total ungeduldig
Immer nur am brüll'n und ganz selten still
Statt einfach mal gechillt zu wat er will
Hat er Hunger oder Kummer, da kann man nur munkeln
Die meiste Zeit tapp ich absolut im dunkeln

Bei meinem neuen Arbeitgeber, mmh
Läuft ihm mal 'ne Laus über die Leber
Und das kommt häufiger vor
Benimmt er sich gern wie ein wilder Eber
Am besten man nimmt's mit Humor
Ich glaub, ich brauche dringend einen, Ratgeber

Und er braucht immens viel Schlaf
Er schläft im Grunde ständig, bei Bedarf
Außer Nachts natürlich, wenn er soll
Und das find ich ja nicht besonders rücksichtsvoll - Ah

Das ist anschein'd seine Masche
Ey und der Typ hängt ständig an der Flasche
Was der alles wegbechert
Und lässt die Flasche in den Dreck, wenn man Pech hat

Und er hat gar keine Tischmanier'n
Die Küche kannst'e nachher immer frisch sanier'n
Er quascht nicht lange um den heißen Brei Nein
Er patscht lieber in den heißen Brei rein

Und wenn ich mit ihm am Esstisch rumlunger
Tut er immer so, als hätt er kein Hunger
Steckt sich aber ständig ohne Grund
Irgendwelche ungesunden Sachen in den Mund

Auf denen er dann rumknabbert
Und unverständlichen Unsinn plappert
Und ich sag's nicht gern, er sabbert ja
Ich glaub ich brauch dringend ein Sabbatjahr

Ich habe ihn schon oft beim Sabbern ertappt
Er sieht dann immer aus wie Chabadahad

Und wische zapzarab, ihn den Sabber da ab

Ich bin sein Animateur
Und auch noch so viel mehr
Ich bin sein Personal Trainer
Und auch sein Chauffeur
Fahr ich mit Ihm kreuz und quer
Durch den Berliner Verkehr
Dann brauch ich dafür
Erstaunlich viel Zubehör

Kommt vor das ich schon mal schwächel
Während ich Ihm hinterherhechel
Röchel, Röchel, Luft zufächel
Aber wenn er dann einmal lächelt

Wie gut das ich mit seinem Eigensinn
Von vornherein nicht ganz alleine bin
Nein, seit Beginn hab ich welch ein Segen
Eine wirklich fähige Kollegin

Ich schaff das alles hier nur Ihretwegen
Ohne Sie käm ich laufend von der Traufe in den Regen

Wie Sie das alles hinkrieg't so beflissen

Ohne Sie wär ich völlig auf geschmissen
Und hätte längst die weiße Fahne hissen müssen

Die beste Kollegin die es gibt
Deswegen habe ich mich auch in Sie verliebt
Im Grunde nicht verwunderlich denn
Die meisten Paare ler'n sich auf der Arbeit kenn'

Wir kenn' uns im Prinzip schon seit
Der gemeinsamen Probezeit
Doch so richtig erst seit dem un
Bezahlten, neun monatigen, Praktikum

Und im Umgang mit Ihm
Sind Sie und ich 'n ziemlich gutes Team
Vorallem Sie ist darin sehr geschickt
Sie hat einfach den besseren Überblick

Wir sind ziemlich unterschiedlich, ich meine Wir und Er
Doch er ist ausgesprochen niedlich, und zwar sehr, yeah
Drum darf er auch erstmal bei uns wohnen
Er ist ja schließlich unser Sohn

The New Job

There’s always some idiot doing it

And I have to do things that are really bad
That I'm not even properly trained for

And I don't even get paid for it

Yeah, it's really true, damn it
Basically, my new job is an honorary position
And I have it now
As far as I can tell, for life

Working conditions that torment you
A lot of people have a lot to say about that
But what I top everyone with
Are the stories about my new boss

I’ve got a new boss now, yeah yeah
A boss who tops them all, who tops them all
The kind of boss you know like the back of your hand, a really tough boss
He’s not a dog that bites, more like one that barks a lot

A choleric, defiant tyrant
There are days, man, oh man, he pisses me off
I've gotten a lot from him, too
Times, a really good dressing down

And on top of that
He likes to pee on my leg
That seems to be a kind of sport for him
And he always wants everything right now
He has to grab everything he sees immediately
But as soon as he has it in his hand, he drops it again

And he always looks so innocent
And he is totally impatient
Always yelling and rarely quiet
Instead of just chilling out and doing what he wants to do
If he’s hungry or upset, you can only speculate
Most of the time I'm completely in the dark

At my new employer’s, mmh
If something gets under his skin
And that happens more often than not
He likes to act like a wild boar
It's best to take it with humor
I think I desperately need some guidance

And he needs an immense amount of sleep
He sleeps basically all the time, when he needs to
Except at night, of course, when he's supposed to
And I don’t find that very considerate - Ah

That seems to be his thing
Dude, and the guy's always hitting the bottle
What he drinks away
And drops the bottle in the dirt, if you’re unlucky

And he has no table manners
You can always renovate the kitchen afterwards
He doesn't beat around the bush, no
He prefers to slap right into the hot porridge

And when I'm hanging out with him at the dinner table
He always acts like he's not hungry
But he's always stuffing something unhealthy in his mouth for no reason
Into his mouth

Which he then nibbles on
And babbles incomprehensible nonsense
And I hate to say it, but he drools, yeah
I think I desperately need a sabbatical

I've caught him drooling many times
He always looks like Chabadahad

I'm his entertainer
And so much more
I'm his personal trainer
And also his chauffeur
I drive him all over the place
Through Berlin traffic
Then I need
An amazing amount of accessories

Sometimes I weaken
While I'm panting after him
Wheeze, wheeze, fanning myself
But when he smiles

It’s a good thing that with his stubbornness
I'm not all alone
No, from the very beginning, what a blessing
A really capable colleague

A capable colleague, yeah
My good fairy in every way, a true blessing
I can only do all this because of her
Without her, I would constantly be caught in the rain

How she manages to do it all with such dedication
I am simply blown away by her
Without her I would be completely lost
And would have long since had to raise the white flag

The best colleague there is
That's why I fell in love with her
Basically not surprising because
Most couples meet at work

We've known each other basically since
The joint probationary period
But really only since the un
Paid, nine-month internship

And in dealing with him
She and I are a pretty good team
She is particularly good at it
She just has the better overview

We are quite different, I mean us and him
But he is extremely cute, yeah
So he can stay with us for a while
He is our son, after all
