J'agissais comme si j'étais quelqu'un,
Sans le Seigneur avec moi, je ne serais personne.
Je le louais des lèvres, mais mon cœur était froid,
Maintenant j'ouvre la Parole, je cherche comment m'y prendre.
Merci à Dieu,
Il est descendu et mort pour mes péchés, maintenant je
Vis ma vie pour Lui et Sa Gloire.
J'ai traversé beaucoup d'épreuves, alors laisse-moi te raconter mon histoire.

Quand je dis Dieu, je parle de Jésus-Christ,
Les gens ont peur de dire son nom, alors j'ai dû le répéter.
On n'y arrivera pas si on ne marche pas avec Dieu, peu importe tes formes généreuses,
Plus je me rapprochais de Lui, plus je me trouvais indigne.
Ce n'est pas une question de combien tu lis, mais de combien tu appliques.
J'ai travaillé dur chaque jour, j'ai galéré toute ma vie,
Mais je courais après les mauvaises choses.
Maintenant j'essaie de vivre comme il faut.
