ทั้งเจ็ดครั้งรบพม่าจนล้มกลิ้ง
บางระจันเก่งจริงจึงต้องยิงด้วยปืน

เอาปืนใหญ่ยิงใส่กันตูมตาม
ปืนไทยแตกเหลือแต่ด้าม
เพราะเพิ่งหล่อเมื่อวานซืน

ก็กรุงศรีมิให้เขาหยิบยืมปืน
จึงมิอาจหยัดยืนรักษาค่ายบางระจัน

He leaves the temple, a beacon of hope and strength

They aim to face the Burmese army, big and small

Their strength, their courage, makes them the warriors of Singha

Seven times they fought the Burmese and sent them tumbling

The capital, Ayutthaya, wouldn't lend them cannons
Therefore, they couldn't hold their ground, defend the fort of Bang Rachan
