But it's about that person in your life that you wonder where they are
And this song is about what would happen if you ran into them
You know, you-, it was, it was not a bad breakup
You wish the best for them, you're happy in your life, they're happy in their life
And, uhm, it just brings back some emotions when you see them
And you think, "God, it didn't work out"
It-it-, because your life wouldn't be the same

The person, the guy in the, the song has a little girl
And she's happy and laughing and looks like him, and
You know, it's definitely bittersweet
But it has, it has notes of, you know, "Thank gosh, this didn't work out"
Because my life would be different
We would be together and fate would be like messed up somehow

"Denkst du über mich nach?". Es hat ein völlig anderes Gefühl als das Lied.
Aber es geht um diese Person in deinem Leben, bei der du dich fragst, wo sie ist.
Und dieses Lied handelt davon, was passieren würde, wenn du ihm über den Weg laufen würdest.
Weißt du, es war keine schlimme Trennung.
Du wünschst ihm das Beste, du bist glücklich in deinem Leben, er ist glücklich in seinem Leben.
Und, ähm, es bringt einfach ein paar Emotionen zurück, wenn du ihn siehst.
Und du denkst: "Gott, es hat nicht geklappt."
Es, es - weil dein Leben nicht dasselbe wäre.

Der Mann in dem Lied hat ein kleines Mädchen.
Und sie ist glücklich und lacht und sieht aus wie er, und
weißt du, es ist definitiv bittersüß.
Aber es hat, es hat Anklänge von, weißt du, "Gott sei Dank hat das nicht geklappt".
Weil mein Leben anders wäre.
