Ein kaltes Grab, alleine in der Nacht
Wie eine Sehnsucht die man nicht stillen kann
Wie eine Schlacht die ein toter Engel sang
Sie ist es nicht, kann es nicht sein
Dunkelheit kriecht in sie hinein
Ein Tränenmeer reicht niemals aus
Ein letzter Blick zu ihr hinauf

Dead Angel

A child of the night, who dies without love
In ice frozen, turns into an angel
It breaks the heart and sorrow suffocates the world
The last look breaks through the starry sky
A raven cries its death song
And it becomes dark in the forest where she lies
Only pale light from the moon nourishes
And a poem, which the worms taught
It is like love, which dies when it awakes
A cold tomb, alone in the night
Like a longing that cannot be satisfied
Like a battle, which a dead angel sang
It is not her, cannot be
Darkness creeps into her
A sea of tears is never enough
A last look up to her
