And Enoch lived sixty and five years and begat Methuselah

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man

Men of renown and GOD saw that the wickedness of man
Was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts

LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the
Face of the earth both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and
The fowls of the air for it repenteth me that I have made them
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD these are
The generations of Noah,Noah was a just man and perfect
In his generations, and Noah walked with God
And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth
Was filled with violence and God looked upon the Earth
And, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted
His way upon the earth and God said unto Noah
The end of all flesh is come before me for the earth is
Filled with violence through them and, behold
I will destroy them with the earth

Und es geschah, als die Menschen begannen, sich zu vermehren
auf der Erde, und ihnen Töchter geboren wurden,
da sahen die Gottessöhne die Töchter der Menschen, dass sie
schön waren, und sie nahmen sich Frauen von allen, die sie erwählten.
Und der HERR sprach: Mein Geist soll nicht immerdar mit dem Menschen rechten,

als die Gottessöhne zu den Töchtern der Menschen eingingen und sie

berühmt waren. Und GOTT sah, dass die Bosheit des Menschen
groß war auf Erden und dass alles Sinnen und Trachten seines Herzens

HERRN, dass er den Menschen auf der Erde gemacht hatte, und es schmerzte ihn in seinem Herzen.
Und der HERR sprach: Ich will den Menschen, den ich erschaffen habe, vom Erdboden vertilgen,

die Vögel des Himmels; denn es reut mich, dass ich sie gemacht habe.
Aber Noah fand Gnade vor den Augen des HERRN. Dies sind

und siehe, sie war verderbt; denn alles Fleisch hatte seinen Weg
verderbt auf Erden. Und Gott sprach zu Noah:
Das Ende allen Fleisches ist vor mich gekommen, denn die Erde ist
durch sie voller Gewalt, und siehe,
ich will sie mit der Erde vertilgen.
