This is a lovely, beautiful piece
It has this very kind of sophisticated feel about it
Um, I'm not really sure how to feel about it
I know that when the piece starts off, there's this kind
Of almost innocent quality and then it develops into
This kind of more serious sound later on in the piece
There's a lot going on with lots of different instruments
We've got strings playing what sounds like an Italian style melody
We have what sounds like two pianos, maybe there're three even
I can't really tell at first listen because they all sort
Of blend together but one of them stands out to me as being
Quite high pitched almost singing-like in places that adds
Something very interesting or exciting about the music
Um, you know, normally when things are just kind of like
Rolling along and there's not anything particularly interesting
Happening, you don't really hear the piano like that unless
Perhaps they're playing something which is sort of calling
For the piano to be played in this particular style or manner
But here we do hear some very nice piano music as well
And then from time to time we have what sounds
Like an electric guitar or perhaps a synth
Playing what sounds like an oriental sounding melody
I'm not entirely sure if those are real instruments being
Used there because it's not really clear what those are
We also have I think in this piece a clarinet, though maybe
That's just me not being able to hear it very clearly because
The music is so moving at different times by other instruments
As well and there can be lots going on simultaneously when all
Of them start playing these kind of complex themes or motifs
So we're having sort of multiple things happening with one beat then
Something completely different happens the next and you don't know
Which way to go until it fades out at the end and then you have to
Wait for another bit before anything
Else comes back into focus again
So it's a beautiful piece, I really enjoy it but there are just
So many different things going on all of time in this music
That sometimes gets confusing when trying to keep track because
Everything is sort of moving so rapidly with such energy
And we also hear other instruments like strings which can
Be quite high pitched as well occasionally in some places
Um, maybe they're playing those long sustained notes where
These chords seem rather extended for no apparent reason
As an aside here, if anyone wants to know what any of these different
Instruments are and where they're coming from in this music then I
Would recommend going to YouTube again or any good online sources
For more information on what is actually being played here by which
Instrument at various points throughout the piece as it progresses
And if you do want to know exactly how I felt about it, then you
Can go back to the beginning of this piece when we have that
Beautiful piano motif which sounds like something out of a movie
Or an advertisement and suddenly everything feels very calm again
And as soon as they stop playing these long sustained notes in unison
From all those different instruments, there is just such a contrast
Between them being so loud at one point in time against our ears for
Some reason hearing us feel relaxed but also
Sort of struggling with where their heads are
Because there's too much going on simultaneously
So anyway, when all those notes stop playing together
Suddenly everything feels so calm and quiet and peaceful
Almost but still very interesting because there was
Something jarring about how loud things were just before
