Pas étonnant que nous soyons fiers de notre chère terre au-delà de la mer.
Voici comment ma chère vieille mère me racontait l'histoire.
Un petit morceau de paradis est tombé du ciel un jour.
Et il s'est niché sur l'océan, dans un endroit si lointain.
Et les anges l'ont trouvé, il était tellement doux et beau.
Ils se sont dit : "Supposons que nous le laissions ici, car il a l'air si paisible."
Alors ils l'ont saupoudré de poussière d'étoiles pour faire pousser les trèfles.
C'est le seul endroit où tu les trouveras, où que tu ailles.
Ensuite, ils l'ont parsemé d'argent pour rendre ses lacs si grands.
Et quand ils ont fini, ils l'ont appelé l'Irlande...
