Doch es versinkt harmlos im Wolkenmeer

Mein Leben zieht noch einmal an mir vorbei
Und ich gebe zu: Eigene Schuld ist dabei
Hätte ich nicht am Kompass gedreht
Könnte es sein, dass der Mast jetzt noch steht

Dieses Luftschiff ist sensibel galvanisch verzahnt
Dass wir jetzt alle sterben, war doch so nie geplant

The Airship Harpooner

If only one gear breaks
The mechanics won't work
Which closes the pressure relief valve
Otherwise the pressure will blow up the boiler
If only one connecting rod jams
It runs hot and the line burns
Explosive gas flows through it

A flash of lightning

Harpoon ready
But it keeps itself hidden
So we hunt the gigantic cloud beast
I have it in my sights

And I watch my projectile disappear
But it sinks harmlessly into the sea of clouds
The whole ship is burning brightly
And it races towards the cloud front
My life flashes before my eyes again
And I admit: It's my own fault
Had I not turned the compass
The mast might still be standing

That we are all dying now was never planned
