Me diga qual é a sua primeira memória
De um diálogo com a sua própria família
Na tentativa de ter essas respostas que você tanto busca?
Coruja BC1:Eu confesso que eu ainda não
Encontrei essas respostas que eu tanto busco, tá ligado?
É tipo, eu lembro quando eu era pivete
Eu atravessava com a minha comigo no colo praticamente
Eu tinha quatro anos de idade e a gente ia pro serviço dela
Ela trampava de empregada doméstica num apartamento ali na Aclimação
E a gente saia do fundo de Osasco, do Munhoz Júnior, até a Aclimação
Pegava dois ônibus, metrô, trem, até chegar lá
E na volta eu fazia um monte de perguntas
E eu lembro que um dia eu perguntei
Pra ela uma parada, eu perguntei assim:
"Mamãe porque que aonde a gente mora é de um
Jeito e aonde a senhora trabalha é de outro?
Porque aonde a gente mora a casa é de madeira?
O banheiro é no quintal?
Porque a gente não pode morar numa casa assim?"
Aí minha mãe respondeu: "Porque a gente é pobre"
Aí eu falei e porque as casas no outro lugar é de um jeito?
E ela falou: "Porque eles são ricos"
Aí eu falei: " Porque existe rico e pobre mãe?"
Aí ela falou: " Porque o mundo é desigual"
Aí eu falei: " E porque o mundo é desigual?"
Aí ela falou: " Isso você vai descobrir com o tempo"

I think we've evolved quite a bit since the beginning of our sessions

Found the answers that I am looking for, you know?
Like, I remember when I was a kid
I would go everywhere with my mother carrying me in her arms, practically
I was four years old and we were going to her job
She worked as a cleaning lady in an apartment in Aclimação
And we would leave from the back of Osasco, from Munhoz Júnior, all the way to Aclimação
We took two buses, the subway, the train, until we got there
And on the way back, I would ask a lot of questions
And I remember that one day, I asked her
I asked her something like this:
"Mom, why is it that where we live is one
Way and where you work is another?
Why is it that where we live, the house is made of wood?
The bathroom is in the backyard?
Why can't we live in a house like that?"
And my mom replied: "Because we are poor"
Then I said, "And why are the houses in the other place one way?"
And she said: "Because they are rich"
Then I said: "Why are there rich people and poor people, mom?"
And she said: "Because the world is unequal"
Then I said: "And why is the world unequal?"
And she said: "You will find that out in time"
