Ma Drilli fu più lenta e il cacciatore
La caricò su in barca dicendo: "Yes!
Io ne farò borsette, portafogli e beauty-case".

Povero Cocco senza la sua Drilli!
Chiama raccolta tutti i coccodrilli
Dice piangendo: "Amici, un cacciatore
Si porta via sul fiume il mio grande amore!
Ne vuole far borsette e beauty-case
Amici miei, salviamola!" E quelli fanno: "Yes!"

Erano più di mille i coccodrilli
Che scesero nel fiume a cercar la Drilli,
Vedendoli arrivare, il cacciatore
Buttò la Drilli in acqua per poi scappare.

Ed è così che Cocco è tornato ancor
A vivere con Drilli il suo bel sogno d'amor!

Teeny and Cyril

Two alligators were in love
She called him "Teeny" while he called her "Cyril"
They lived in a river down in Morocco
He was always with "Cyril" and she with Teeny.

But in this which is a sweet love story
Out of the blue, there comes a hunter on a boat

The two alligators saw him coming
She said: "Run, Teeny!", he: "Run, Cyril!"
Teeny was faster and managed to escape,
But Cyril was slower and the hunter
Loaded her onto the boat, saying: "Yes!
I'll make hand bags, wallets and vanity cases out of her".

Poor Teeny without his Cyril!
He calls all the alligators to assemble
He says, crying: "Friends, a hunter
Is taking the love of my life away down the river!
He wants to make hand bags and vanity cases out of her
My friends, we must save her!" And they say: "Yes!"

There were over a thousand alligators
Who went down the river to look for Cyril,
Seeing them coming, the hunter
Threw Cyril into the water and then ran away.

And so it is that Teeny is once more
Back to living his beautiful dream of love with Cyril!

The two alligators are back together
And she calls him "Teeny" while he calls her "Cyril"
And they live happily down in Morocco
