Und versuchen damit etwas zu bewegen
Denn haben wir als Menschen
Nicht die Aufgabe Tieren zu helfen?
Anstatt das zu tun

Verarbeiten wir sie zu Pelzen
Hören nicht auf uns're Medikamente an ihnen zu testen
Und wieder geht sinnlos ein Leben zu Ende
Oder wird für die Forschung missbraucht
Ich glaub′, damit sich etwas verbessert
Muss man einfach bei sich selbst anfangen
Und denk dran es ist Blödsinn, dass ein Einzelner nichts ändern kann

Wann nimmt das Leid sein Ende?
Sieh statt nur zum TV, doch mal auf deine Hände
Und überleg dir, was du damit alles verändern kannst
Und denk daran, wer was bewegen will fängt bei sich selber an
Die Viehzucht ist dran Schuld
Dass sich Dürre durch die Felder zieht
Und der Regenwald geholzt wird
Bis es kaum noch grüne Flächen gibt
Bis irgendwann das Wasser in den Bächen versiegt
Weil das Letzte, was noch fließt
Wohl das Blut ist, dass man für Geld vergießt
Wir sehen weg, uns ist egal was mit der Welt geschieht
Und es wird sich nie verändern
Denn wir sind ignorant und selbstverliebt
Doch vielleicht checken sie am Ende vom Lied
Dass das Schicksal dieser Erde und
Ob sie sprießt in unseren Händen liegt

In our society, a life is worth nothing anymore

As misery multiplies here
Animal testing still exists
Have you seen the pictures?

How theirs bleed when we torture them?
They are trapped in cages
And are helplessly at our mercy
And this fear is reflected in their eyes
Do you feel the endless pain?
Despite all our efforts
Tears flow every day and

Then you know that there is a being
That just like us has a soul
And just wants to live
When will the madness stop?

This world is so rich, so boundless
And has so much to offer in my eyes
But we still eat meat every day and
This despite the fact that we love our pets
