Das ist Sonntagabendfeeling ohne das der Wecker nervt,
Ohne hecktik, Lärm, Stress mit den Geschäftsaffären.

Sich korrekt ernährt, mittags erst zum Becker fährt.
Ja, sowas hätte ich gern, ein Tag an dem man all das macht für das man sonst unter der Woche zu beschäftigt wär.
Ein bisschen Jazz on air, verdrängt oft schnell den Schmerz.
Und es ist echt viel Wert, im Menschmeer des Prenzelbergs.
Wie ein Geschenk des Herrn, wie durch die Stimme Gottes, ich gönn mirne Minute ruhe egal wie schlimm der Job ist.
Verschwinde durch die Hintertür wenn es mal wieder Zoff gibt.
Und mein Boss mit seinem Zorn, mein sensiblen Kopf fickt.
Es ist doch wie im Boxring, all die Schicksalsschläge stecken mir nach all den Jahren immer noch tief in den Knochen.
Da hilft nur schwimm und Joggen, oder gechillt zu poppen, für neue energieressoucen zur beginn der nächsten Woche.

The Word for Sunday

This is Sunday evening feeling without the pesky alarm clock,
Without hustle and bustle, noise, and stress with business.
A day when you just simply chill in bed.
Eating well, only going to see Becker at noon.
Yes, that's what I'd like to have, a day when you just do all those things you're too busy for during the week.
A little jazz on air, often quells the pain quickly.
And it's really worth a lot, in the sea of people in Prenzlauer Berg.
Like a gift from the Lord, like through the voice of God, I give myself a moment of peace no matter how bad the job is.
I disappear out the back door when there's trouble again.
And my boss with his anger, messing with my sensitive mind.

The only thing that helps is swimming and jogging, or chilled out banging, for new energy resources to begin the next week.
