Zjevil se mi k večeru a doufal, že mu sežeru
Vtip, že je ďábel sám a já jsem v řiti, až mně chytí.
Vida toho chcípáka! Snad myslí, že mě naláká,
Když roh mu trčí z hlavy a on tvrdí, že je pravý.

Přísahám, že jsem ďábel sám, tak nezdržuj!
Půjdem spolu, do pekel dolu!

Říkal si Lucifer a tvrdil, že to není fér,
Když s ním nechci jít. Na to se v pekle tvářej vztekle.
Tak ať mně teda přesvědčí, že nejde jenom vo řeči.
Že je to čert pravej, špinavej a trvdohlavej!

Sakra co chceš víc ještě k tomu říc! Fakt jsem čert!
A jako důkaz mám z pekla průkaz!

Pak mi podal černou knížku a bylo mu do breku!
Na obalu vyryto velký zlatý kopyto.
Uvnitř fotka satanáše ve svátečním vobleku!
Bylo mi ho líto, vypadal jak úplnej blbbec.

Nešťastně tam v koutě stál a já ho vlastně litoval!
Po tváři mu proudem tekly slzy – no to brzy!
Podal jsem mu kapesník, čert jenom sklesle pípnul "dík"
Možná, že byl z formy a já vymknul se mu z normy.

Zpátky sám asi jít zas mám. Do pekla, dolů.
Ale co řeknou, ty se tam vzteknou!
Znám je víš, to ty netušíš. Můj šéf je ras.
Ale snad to ňák pude! Dobrý to bude!

Potom vzal to hopem, totiž proletěl mi stropem.
Tak jsem, ještě v šoku skrz tu díru cejtil síru.
Von fakt asi nekecal, sám Lucifer mi v bytě stál.
Vod tý doby stonám a jenom dobrý skutky konám.

He appeared to me in the evening and hoped I would swallow his line
He joked that he was the devil himself and I would be in trouble if he caught me.
Look at that deadbeat! Does he think he can lure me in
When his horn is sticking out of his head and he claims to be real.

I swear, I am the devil himself, so don't delay!
We'll go together, down to hell!

He called himself Lucifer and claimed that it was not fair
When I didn't want to go with him. That would make him angry in hell.
So let him convince me that it's not just talk.
That he's a real devil, filthy and stubborn!

What the hell else do you want me to say? I'm really the devil!
And as proof, I have a pass from hell!

Then he handed me a black book and he was so upset!
On the cover was engraved a large golden hoof.
Inside was a photo of Satan in a holiday suit!
I felt sorry for him, he looked like a complete idiot.

He stood in the corner unhappily and I felt sorry for him!
Tears were streaming down his face - oh snap!
I handed him a tissue, the devil just whimpered "thanks"
Maybe he was out of shape and I got out of his way.

I guess I'll have to go back home. To hell, down below.
But what will they say, they'll be mad!
You know them, you have no idea. My boss is a devil.
But maybe it'll work out! It'll be good!

Then he took off, flew through my ceiling.
So I, still in shock, could smell sulfur through the hole.
He probably wasn't kidding, Lucifer himself was standing in my apartment.
Since then I've been moaning and I only do good deeds.
