This is probably one of the only songs that I've ever
Uhm, really been angry about recording
Because, uhm, I didn't wanna do the song
It was a song that, uhm, that I found out
Was supposedly written for me, had I won American Idol

And, uhm, it just didn't feel like
To me, it didn't feel like the rest of, of the record
That I, that I was making at the time, and
The label barely interfered
With any of the recording process
But this song in particular
They kinda pushed me and pushed me, pushed me

And I remember, uhm
Having a few words in the vocal booth
Before I started singing it
And after I was done, it kinda grew on me
And I was, uhm, kinda glad that they forced me to do it
Because it turned out to be one of our bigger hits

Et je me souviens, euh
Avoir quelques mots dans la cabine vocale
Avant de commencer à chanter
Et après avoir terminé, ça m'a plu
Et j'étais, euh, content qu'ils m'aient forcé à le faire
