This is a sort of a three chord song or more like a one chord song
But I—when I first wrote this song I was kinda thinkin' about

So, it was kinda about that and how we ended up in the city
And then the—the cars, and then the house
And then as it turns out it's kind of sort of a little autobiographical too

Also, ähm, als ich zuerst—
Das ist eine Art Drei-Akkorde-Song oder eher ein Ein-Akkord-Song.
Aber ich—als ich diesen Song zum ersten Mal schrieb, dachte ich irgendwie darüber nach,
wie wir in einer Phase, äh,
du und ich oder so, oder
zumindest unsere Großeltern im Wald herumliefen
und auf Bäume kletterten und solche Sachen machten.
Also, es ging irgendwie darum und wie wir in der Stadt gelandet sind,
und dann die Autos und dann das Haus.
Und dann stellt sich heraus, dass es auch ein bisschen autobiografisch ist,
weil es um einen singenden Affen geht.
Das hier heißt "Stolzester Affe".
Es ist ein sehr ruhiges Lied.
