Même quand tu as ton billet, le travail n'est pas là.
Le travail le plus sûr en Angleterre est de distribuer le chômage :
Pour chaque homme qui obtient un emploi, ils en refusent cent autres.

Car maintenant le travail se fait rare, les files d'attente se forment à nouveau.
Les rues sont pleines de jeunes hommes et de jeunes femmes qui cherchent du travail.
Mais quand tu viens de quitter l'école, tu n'as presque aucune chance.
Ils envoient tous les jeunes d'Angleterre pour un long stand.

Ils disent que si tu as du cran, tu peux faire ce que tu veux.
Ils disent que tu réussiras avec un peu de graisse de coude.
Mais avec cent candidats pour chaque emploi, peu ont une chance.
